Make compliance a reality

Child abuse prevention compliance is critical for organizations. What do you do if your organization has more than one location?

Once you have your child abuse prevention compliance program implementation plan set up, make sure to create a training program for your child protection administrators so that they understand the program and how to implement it in their role as administrators. You would be surprised at the number of organizations that do not address local program administrator training and let people figure it out on their own.

Remember, the local program administrator is your organization’s front-line representative in protecting both the children in your service as well as the organization. As the saying goes, an organization is only as strong as its weakest link. Compliance is not an area that you want people to simply “learn on the job!”

Empower your local program administrators with the tools and resources they need to monitor compliance.
